Early Life and Education
Originally from Athlone, Dr. Keaney pursued his medical education at University College Dublin (UCD), graduating with honors in 2004. During his postgraduate training, he was awarded a Newman Fellowship from UCD, dedicating two years to research at the Mater Hospital.
